Working Secrets to Defeat the Devil

The battle against evil has raged since the beginning of time. But amidst the complexity of this spiritual warfare, a simple secret exists that can empower us to overcome the devil’s schemes.

When facing difficulties, remember that you are what God says you are, you can do what God says you can do, and you have what God says you have. With God, all things are possible. You seem to forget this when you are facing challenges.

What is your situation? Because when situations come, we seem to forget that we are Christians.

Keys to Defeating the Devil

Philippians 4:13 (NKJV): “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

You and God can move mountains together. Remember, whenever you face a difficult challenge, remember the more difficult and trying times you had. This will impart strength to face your present situation.

David in 1 Samuel 17:37 (NKJV): “Moreover David said, ‘The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.’ And Saul said to David, ‘Go, and the Lord be with you!'”

Remember David. He walked majestically to King Saul and said he would face Goliath, who had disturbed his brothers and country. King Saul looked at him and questioned him, but David recounted how he had killed a bear with his hands. He remembered the difficult times he overcame and faced Goliath with the same confidence.

This is the key to defeating your present situation.

Take Your Time: Anytime you are facing a challenge or situation. Remember the more difficult and trying times you had in the past and how you overcame them. This will impart strength to face your present situation.

James 1:2-4 (NKJV) “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

Joy vs. Situation: James 1:2 (NKJV) tells us to “count it all joy when you fall into various trials.”

When we hold onto our joy in the face of challenges, we tap into a powerful force that strengthens our faith and empowers us to overcome. Joy is not just an emotion; it’s a weapon against the enemy.

Do not trade your joy with your situation. Once you stop trading your joy with your situation, you will always overcome it. You need joy to overcome any situation. If you lose your joy, the situation will overwhelm you.

No One Can Stop You: Romans 8:31 (NKJV): “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

No one can stop you; only you can stop yourself. The path forward requires strength, which comes from nurturing your spirit. No matter what life throws my way, I smile. It’s a smile born from remembering the past, the challenges overcome, and the resilience gained.

Seeking a Job or Healing: If you are looking for a job, choose to be happy, and you will soon get one. If you are sick, choose to be happy, and the sickness will not last.

Even if you have serious pain, you can choose not to trade that pain with your joy. When there is pain and joy together, the pain will not last. Joy and sorrow cannot coexist.

Releasing Yourself: Genesis 39:2 (NKJV): “The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man…”

Because of challenges, you have been releasing yourself from business, marriage, and church. Learn from Joseph, who, despite being in a pit without water, knew he didn’t belong there. He held onto his faith and vision.

Conclusion

When you are laughing, Satan is crying. Stop trading your joy with your situation. Hold onto your joy, as it is through joy that you can overcome your situation. If you lose your joy, the situation will overwhelm you. Situations do not want to see joy.
